Josh is a family man that resides as the 3rd generation in the family farmhouse. Josh grew up in bluff country of NE Iowa, and has lived and worked in the outdoors of NE Iowa & SE Minnesota his entire life. Josh studied Business Management at Kirkwood Community College. Josh and his wife Jill have three children Ava, Evan & Isaac.
Josh spent nearly every weekend on the family farm as a kid growing up, then started deer & turkey hunting at the age of 8. Along with hunting, Josh enjoyed searching the timber for morel mushrooms and ginseng. He learned the ins & outs of the woods at a young age, a passion for it still thrives today. Josh still enjoys planting food plots and working on the farmstead.
Josh has a vast & extensive knowledge of the rural area. This has only expanded with his professional career, having 16 years experience in vegetation management for power line right of ways in SE Minnesota & NE Iowa. He is a Certified Arborist with the International Society of Arboriculture, & holds memberships in the Midwestern, Iowa, & Minnesota Chapters of International Society of Arborculture. Currently serving as the System Forester for Electric Cooperatives in SE Minnesota & NE Iowa. Josh has knowledge & professional experience with trees, which he holds in high regard.
