Chad was born and raised in Decatur County, Indiana, a small town agricultural community. He is a partner in a family diversified grain and livestock operation consisting of corn, beans and wheat. As well as swine and cattle. He has two sons Clayton and Landon which are engaged in the day to day farm activities.
Chad is a graduate of South Decatur High School where he participated in FFA and Livestock Judging. He is a member of the Westport I.O.O.F. Lodge #681 as well as a member of the Westport area Community Building where he currently presides as acting President. He assists Owens Auction Service on personal property, farm equipment, and antique auctions. Chad enjoys working with people from all walks of life in the auction business and has made many friends and memories along the way.
