Born and raised in Northern Missouri, Jake hails from a long line of businessmen, outdoorsmen, and landowners. Currently he and his Pudelpointer Elli reside in Dekalb County, MO, just across the creek bottom from his family's land, a Missouri century farm nestled along the Little Third Fork of the Platte river. In his free time, Jake enjoys riding motorcycles, hunting, fishing, and habitat management.
Jake was introduced to the outdoors early on and became extremely passionate about it immediately, learning to fish when he first began to walk and to hunt (squirrels) at the tender age of 5. Through the years, that passion became the driving force for his interests in adventure, habitat management, and conservation. It led him to structure his education around life sciences. In FFA he was on both livestock and horticulture teams and became certified in greenhouse management through Hillyard Tech, before attending MWSU where he majored in wildlife conservation and management.
Jake chose to pursue a career in land sales because it has always been his dream to become a landowner himself and expand the family farm so that his descendants can stay connected to and derive their futures from the land.
