Scott was born and raised in Hudson, WI in the St Croix River Valley on the WI/MN border. He currently lives in rural New Richmond, WI, just 15 miles NE of Hudson, where he purchased an 1897 built , 9ac hobby farm, and lives with his fiance’ Julie and dog Miley.
After graduating from Hudson High in 1986, Scott went to Bemidji State University in northern MN and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. After college, he worked in the residential construction business for 10 years before acquiring his Real Estate Appraisal credentials and his Real Estate Sales license in 2001. Since then, he has worked with RE/MAX and Keller Williams real estate offices assisting buyers and sellers of single-family homes, hobby farms, and vacant land, with all of their real estate needs.
Growing up in western WI, an area rich with rivers, lakes, woods and farmland, offered a great opportunity to hunt, fish, and hike some of the most beautiful terrain in this part of the country, and Scott took advantage of that. He has been deer hunting with his dad, and fishing at the family cabin since age 6. He has been hiking the woods and fields of western WI for more than 40 years. He has been reading plat maps and working with landowners for the past 20 years and that is why he is pursuing his passion of making the great outdoors his office! In July of 2019, Scott has joined LandProz to assist buyers and sellers in western WI with all of their real estate needs. He has a very simple Business Philosophy…”I have a straightforward approach…knowledge is absolutely necessary to serve my clients to the best of my ability, and honesty is a direct route to success! The commitment I have to my client is to educate them on the current market conditions, trends and values, so they can fully understand and participate in the process. We have the same objective, it is important to work as a team.”
