PROPERTY DESCRIPTION
A rare opportunity to own a working grain and hog farm located on the fringe of development land. Large warehouses, sprawling housing additions, shopping and many other amenities are just a short drive from this farm.
Manure and fertilizer applications give the tillable land top nutrient levels. This highly productive land can produce yields of 250 bushel per acre for corn and 70 bushel per acre soybeans. With minimal investment to the barns, you could be up and running a full farrowing operation. The grain facility has plenty of capacity to handle the crop that comes in from the tillable land. The MRS Pork Eastburn Brothers Farm lays close to the best soybean and corn markets in the state. Bunge Morristown and Poet Ethanol Shelbyville are both within 25 miles. 392 +/- Deeded acres with 342+/- being tillable, makes this farm 87% tillable. Also included are 2 homes.
