PROPERTY DESCRIPTION

TRACT 2

The heart of the farm is tract 2.  All operations were centered from this farmstead.

The home is 2,012 sq. ft. with 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The large family room has a wood burning stove. A large back deck has a great view  of the farm operation activities.  

The grain facility has 3 - 12,000-bushel bins, 2 - 7,000-bushel bins, 1 - 50,000-bushel bin and 1 - 2,400-bushel overhead bin. For a total of 102,400 bushels capacity. There is a well-functioning farm fan dryer with a 5,000 bushel per hour receiving leg and a 2,500 bushel per hour dry leg. There is a 1,500-bushel overhead bin that is linked to the feed mill.

The hog operation has the capacity to run a 1,250 sow farrow to wean with an internal multiplier. There are 480 gestation crates and 237 farrowing crates. There are also 3½ barns of sow pens. All the barns have an overhead feeding and watering system. There are 12 different feed bins that hold a total of 55 tons of feed. The fully operational feed mill is set up to grind and mix feed. There is also 2- 20-ton bean meal bins and 2- 10-ton ingredient bins attached to the feed mixing building.

Additional buildings include a 64’ X 36’ open face barn and a 60’ X 120’ pole barn of which 60’ X 40’ is a heated, insulated shop. The shop has concrete floor, work bench and a loft.
