FARMING NOTE

Grid sampling has been completed on the current crop ground. Since it has been grid tested, we are able to use variable rate applications of fertilizer and lime. This saves money on inputs. Data can be provided to the buyers on a flash drive they can give to any crop input supplier and continue the program if they choose. We paid $9.50/acre for the grid sampling and analysis. Also, the corn ground this year [on tracts 6, 7, & 8] has been fertilized for a target yield of 55 bushel per acre of beans in 2022. This is several thousand dollars in input savings.
