Austin Charlson is a fifth generation farmer who resides in Wright County, IA. His operation is primarily corn, soybeans, and hay. It is truly a family farm, as he gets help from his wife, brother, and parents. Austin’s focus is on conservation with the use of no-till and cover crops. He also has a background in livestock and truck driving. Austin also is employed with an off farm job.
Austin and his wife Angela have two daughters, Harley and Lea. The family is active with community activities such as 4-H, FFA, local and state fairs. Family hobbies include showing rabbits and horses, and camping. Austin and family are also very active in their local Lutheran church. Austin also serves on the board of directors for the County Farm Bureau.
