Austin Charlson is a fifth generation farmer who resides in Wright County in North Central Iowa. His operation is primarily corn, soybeans, and hay. It is truly a family farm, as he gets help from his wife, brother, and parents. Austin’s focus is on conservation with the use of no-till and cover crops. He also has a background in livestock and truck driving. Austin also is employed with an off farm job.
Austin and his wife Angela have two daughters, Harley and Lea. The family is active with community activities such as school, 4-H, FFA, local and state fairs. Family hobbies include show rabbits, horses, and camping. The family is also very active in the Lutheran church in town. Austin is also involved in the County Farm Bureau, serving on the board of directors.
As a farm manager with LANDPROZ, Austin’s main focus will be match up land owners and operators and help to develop long term relationships between them.
