Eric Kline was raised in southwest Iowa not far from where he and his family currently reside just outside of Clarinda, IA. He's been married to his high school sweetheart, Kelly, since 2004. Together they have four children; Sam, Jack, Charlie and Lucy. Eric graduated from Iowa State University with degrees in Management Information Systems, Military Science and Justice. Upon graduation from Iowa State, Eric was commissioned a 2nd Lieutenant in the United States Air Force. Subsequently, Eric served as a Special Agent with the Air Force Office of Special Investigations. As a federal agent, Eric and his family lived in various locations throughout the United States to include Florida, Hawaii, Virginia and Nebraska. Eric spent much of his career overseas, deployed multiple times to combat zones and was the Commander/Special Agent in Charge of units in Afghanistan and Saudi Arabia. Eric was injured on a deployment which resulted in his retirement from the Air Force in 2015. Eric and Kelly decided to return to Iowa to raise their children close to family and return to their small-town Iowa roots.
In November 2015, Eric started Trophy Bucks of Iowa (TBI). Since then, TBI has become a household name in the hunting community and it's social media reaches an average of 4-5 million people per month. TBI showcases the successes of others and provides guidance and information relative to hunting whitetails. TBI also now has a clothing line and produces a line of TBI food plot seed.
Eric’s passion for the outdoors has always been a central focus of his life and a major reason for relocating back to Iowa upon his retirement from the Air Force. Eric also comes from a family of real estate agents and auctioneers. Eric has enjoyed land and land management since he was a child. From riding with his grandfather to check the family crops to now taking his own children to the same land to check the crops and trail cameras. Eric enjoys all the aspects of land. He now cherishes the opportunities to work with buyers and sellers on their farm and recreational land needs.
